Membership Meetings - 2010

Anderson Obedience Training Club Membership meetings are held on the 4th Tuesdays during the months of January, March (Annual Membership Meeting and election of officers and directors.), May, July, September, November. Time for the meetings is determined by the Board of Directors.

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is an exciting new program designed by the American Kennel Club to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start.
After attending our classes for Puppy or Beginners Basic one of AKC Approved Evaluators will administer the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test at the end of the course. Upon passing the test, you will get an application to send to AKC for enrollment in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. All dogs are welcome to participate in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program including purebreds and mixed breeds. Taking the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test at the end of the class is optional for the owner and their dog.

Christmas Pitch-In Dinner

Usually the first or second Tuesday in December at 6:45 p.m.
Actual date determined and announced later in the year.
At the National Guard Armory For Members and their family
Reservations must be received by December 1.
Contact us with your name, the number attending including yourself and what you plan to bring to share with everyone.

Booth at Indiana State Fair

Anderson Obedience Training Club, Inc., with the help of the American Kennel Club set up an informational booth at the Indiana State Fair 4-H Dog Obedience Competition August 22,23, 2009 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.  Pictured are members of the Madison County K-9 4-H group who competed in Obedience, Agility, and Conformation during the weekend.
